We hope that you will love everything that you buy from us.
Our experience with our bricks and mortar customers has been pleasant with very few requests for exchanges (typically limited to sizing-issues when buying apparel as gifts). We do hope that this remains the case with your online purchases with us. We do, however, understand that online purchases does not allow customers to thoroughly inspect products, to receive detailed and personalised explanation/clarification on the products or to try clothing items. So if something isn’t quite right and provided that the stipulations of the policy below are met, you may return your item(s) for an exchange or refund in the form of store credit for the order.
We hope that this policy provides clarity.
Throughout this policy, “we”, “our”, “us” and “Chantek-nya!” refer to FAB FASHION AND FURNISHINGS SDN BHD.
CIRCUMSTANCES THAT QUALIFY FOR RETURNS
The circumstances where we would accede to requests for returns are:
- where the items do not fit (only for clothing items) (“Category A”);
- where the items are not defective but we have inadvertently delivered items with different specification(s) (such as dimensions, colour or print) or we have delivered a different item (“Category B”);
- items which are torn and/or have major stains (“Category C”).
EXCEPTIONS AND CONDITIONS
Please note the following exceptions and conditions under this policy:
- Exception: Discounted or sale items are final and cannot be returned;
- Exception: Slight variations due to the craft’s nature – examples include, among others, products using block print or ikat materials where prints or motifs will not be uniform and variations in colour intensity/tone as well as motif alignment are normal. Products with such perfect imperfections cannot be returned;
- Exception: Colour variations – it is difficult to capture the exact colour of products through product photography. It becomes more challenging with our use of prized materials – examples (not intended to be an exhaustive list): (i) ikat which responds to lighting resulting in a multitude of hues depending on the intensity of lighting, (ii) the use of pretty pastel prints – digital photography tends to result in a higher intensity tone, etc. We will endeavour to describe the actual colour in our product description (e.g. if an article has a greenish tone to it but is actually closer to olive, looks like red but closer to maroon, looks like salmon but closer to peach, etc.). Products with the afore-said colour variations cannot be returned;
- Exception: Our products are handmade – as such, minor variations in measurements (+ 3 cm) and print/motif arrangements, among others, are not considered as a ground for returns;
- Exception: damage to the product caused by the buyer - this product cannot be returned;
- Condition: Returned items must have tags still attached to the items and be returned in original packaging. Items must be in its original condition (tag intact, unworn, unwashed and unaltered). All items are not to be soaked. If colour runs due to this reason or changes in characteristics occur due to the buyer’s non-observance of the product’s care instructions, the product is strictly non-returnable;
- Condition: Returned items must have no visible signs of wear or use;
- Condition: All returns must include the invoice slip. You may reprint it under your account if lost.
- Condition: Returns can only made one time per order number – in other words, any order made with return credit cannot be returned the consequent time.
We reserve the right to decline return requests that fall within the above exceptions or that do not meet the above-mentioned conditions.
PROCEDURES
Provided that the item meets the eligibility criteria set out above and provided further that the item does not fall within the exceptions set out above and that conditions set out above are met, if the buyer wishes to return an item, the buyer must first contact Chantek-nya! at chanteknya.my@gmail.com within three (3) days from the buyer's receipt of the product.
Please state (i) your Order Number and “Returns/Exchanges” in the caption and (ii) a brief description of the issues and attach photos, where relevant.
Once we have conducted our preliminary assessment and consider that the buyer’s request meets this policy and indicate that we are fine with the buyer’s request, the buyer must ensure that all return/exchange items are received by Chantek-nya! within:
- seven (7) days (buyers from or in Malaysia); or
- twenty (20) days (buyers from outside of Malaysia);
from our afore-said preliminary indication.

Kindly take note that the above is merely our preliminary assessment phase and does not guarantee that we will provide you with an exchange or refund in the form of store credits.
We reserve the right to decline requests for exchanges or refunds if upon our inspection of the returned product, there are signs that any of the above exceptions apply or that any/all of the above-stated conditions have not been fulfilled by the buyer.

Option 1: For products that are eligible for exchange, we will commence with the delivery of the exchanged product within seven (7) business days from our receipt of the returned product.
Option 2: If Option 2 is applicable, we will commence with the delivery of the exchanged product within three (3) business days from the buyer's confirmation of the buyer's agreement to Option 2.
Option 3: If the buyer does not respond to our proposal for Option 2, if any, within three (3) business days from our proposal or if the other options are not applicable/inavailable, we will email the store credit to the buyer within fourteen (14) business days from our receipt of the eligible product.
Note: The term "business days" - excludes Saturday, Sunday and public holidays.
Returned items are your responsibility until they reach us - kindly ensure that they are packed up properly so that they are not damaged on the way to us.
As the parcel remains your responsibility until we receive it, kindly ensure that you obtain proof of delivery in case you need to contact us about the returned product.
Regarding shipment of the product that is eligible for return, nothwithstanding our reference to and use of the term shipping or shipment, please feel free to head on over to your Chantek-nya! physical store for an exchange/store credit within the timeline stated above.
To process your exchange smoothly, we kindly request that you bring along the following:
- Receipt of payment: This will help us verify your purchase and ensure a hassle-free exchange; and
- Order number: Providing us with your order number will assist us in locating your transaction quickly.
AMENDMENTS
We reserve the right to change this policy from time to time. The current version will be posted on https://chanteknya-2.easy.co ("Site"). The amended policy will take effect upon our posting of the same on our Site and supersede earlier versions.
